Nurturing a child to have self-confidence, to
be independent and ability to solve simple logical problems by herself are the strongest components of TLL program. Social
skills have improved tremendously. Well-prepared to enter primary
school. Very confident. Took school bus to primary school alone
on the first day with no parents going with her. Enjoys primary
school and well-liked by teachers. She's the class monitor.
Would have liked Schoolhouse to emphasis more on reading skills, but
otherwise perfect. Thank you.

Learning through play and having dedicated
teachers who love children are the strongest components of TLL
program. My sons answered questions 4 to 7 in this survey
himself. He even said that his answers to questions 5 and 6 are more
related to his own character rather than reasons pertaining to
Schoolhouse. Well done, Schoolhouse!

My child enjoyed Schoolhouse. He
understands the differences between Schoolhouse and primary school.
My child is a cheerful and confident boy. Schoolhouse gave him an
overall foundation which was key to him finding
his way around his primary school.

The structured timetable from one activity to
another very different activity is the strongest components of The Learning
Ladder program. The level of Mandarin was comparable to that of Primary
1.

The English and Reading programs as well as the Mandarin
are the strongest components of The Learning Ladder program. He is
asked regularly to recite his poems and stories in front of the whole
primary school! He has also been getting good marks for his
Chinese. The biggest impact of Schoolhouse has been his confidence
level and his love for learning. We believe that Schoolhouse did a
good job in preparing our child for the local P1 system.

The strongest component of TLL program was
your teachers' dedication and commitment to our daughter's learning and
growth, that is they were very positive and encouraging. This made
her learning fruitful and enriching. Our daughter was an introvert child
when she was enrolled into your program in 2002. She was
"speaking with her eyes" as described by your teacher in her 2nd
year there. By the 3rd year, she was "leading" and had
assimilated well in your program. Now in P1, she is a confident child
and contributes actively in class, as described by her P1 form
teacher. She is also appointed as class monitor.

The strongest component of TLL program are:
a) building
confidence level of the child via various play activities
b) encouraging creativity and showmanship in
each individual child. We believe that Schoolhouse did a good job in
preparing our child for the local P1 system because:
·
our child is academically prepared
·
Schoolhouse taught the children to be independent
·
Schoolhouse encouraged children to speak up and fend for
themselves

“I would like to thank all the teachers who have taught
and taken care of my child in 2006. He has improved so much and learnt a
lot.”
“The teachers have been very friendly and understanding
throughout the year and patient in answering my queries.”
“We liked the system of changing classroom and teachers as
I feel that children should not stick to only one teacher. By having
different environments will allow the child to have cultivated good
adaptability.”
“To have different teachers allow the child to receive
different teaching techniques, advices and coaching, this gives the child an
all-rounded exposure.”
“We believes that our system enables
children to be independent, confident and the ability to adjust easily when
environments changes.”
"Plenty of room for the child to express
their views and interact with others."
"Instills self-confidence, self-respect and
social skills."
"Too bad it's over! He misses going to
Schoolhouse."
Curriculum in Schoolhouse builds good skills and
a foundation for life.
